A Second Awayday!

We are delighted to be able to announce a second awayday this year.  Once again, jointly with Gosbecks Christian Fellowship, this time we have booked Capel Community Church, Capel St. Mary on Saturday 3rd May and will be welcoming Denis and Melanie Morgan Dohner from Big God Ministries.  Based in the UK and US, Big God Ministries exists to help others find God's purpose for their lives and let God work a healing in their hearts.  It  promises to be another exciting opportunity to allow God to touch our lives!  Further details can be found at:

A New Term ...

Well, here it is ... a new term, a new focus, a new freedom! The aim of the teaching this term is to try and pull together some of the things we looked at in the Summer term and to seek to move into the things that God has been speaking about ... how vague is that!!!

Our basic aim is to pursue a greater intimacy with God. Leviticus Ch 8, 9 and 10 tell us the story of the ordination of Moses and his sons as priests. After going through ritual cleansing and all the sacrifices required, God says to them "Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting or you will die, because the Lord's anointing oil is on you" (Lev 10:7). Many of have received a touch from God and been filled with Spirit, but there is an important lesson in this verse ... despite being touched by God and filled with the Spirit we cannot afford to leave the entrance to tent of meeting. In other words, we must always abide with God.

We also want to allow God to minister into certain areas of our lives and to release us from fear, identity issues, past hurts and self reliance and release to us a new freedom and joy.
