Site Visit 3

Here is the third video tour of the site. As always things moving so quickly. The Crane successfully arrived and did its Job on Monday. Thanks everyone who prayed. We'll let LJI take the credit for making the decision to order it on Monday but God can take the credit for the weather! Our car park should be tarmacced tarmacd tarmaced covered in tarmac on monday. Flooring is going in quickly, there is one more hearing loop to go in the worship area and that should be covered on Monday too.  Johns painters are ripping along with most of the classrooms being finished this weekend and a funky green in the creche (Neils favourite colour I understand) Lots of builders on site this weekend Neil and Ray were putting together the servery when I popped in this morning and Gary was fixing the steelwork to hang the speakers and light trusses, as well as the others still fitting skirting boards and ceiling tiles, everyone working really hard thanks guys! 

mens breakfast - 5th Dec

Hey - just seen in the diary that it's a men's breakfast next Sat - 5th. Fantastic. These mornings are so good - we meet at 8.30, eat a full english - theres a fasting option which has fewer calories and less fat, then we worship and pray. its informal, fun, and real fellowship. finish at 10.30.  All men over 16 welcome

Albert and Tina Cannon 29 11 09

We are delighted that this Sunday night at 6.30 Albert and Tina Cannon will be with us. They have a beautiful anointing and pray with passion and grace for all sorts of situations and sicknesses. We think we are in for a great time. Albert is a native american indian and was in Toronto through the 90's when the revival started there. His life was transformed as he recognised and received more of the fathers love. We think this is one of those events you wont want to miss

who let the dads out?

It’s the final WLTDO in the old building on Saturday from 9.30 - 11, the next one will be in our new church!

Please bring a preschool child and as many dads as you can this week. It’s a great time to have a chat and a bacon buttie, oh and the children have fun playing to!

We hope to be doing a skype link with Mike and neil will be speaking on 'the importance of an up-and-down relationship with God' in the Let my people Go series

small groups

The small groups, normally called Discipleship groups, are a key part of our church. This week the leaders are getting together at 8 on Thurs at the church to plan next term and the 40 days of community we will be doing together. if you want to be involved in making this happen please join us!

Most of the small groups wont be happening this week but they are back in action next week, beginning 30th Nov

Psalm drummers

Dan A and Michelle T lead the colchester group of Psalm drummers and are involved nationally too.

On 7th December Ed Freitas is leading the drummers meeting, Ed is a professional drummer who has worked for Gwen Stafani, Pendulum, Dido, Yfriday and many many more, and as a solo artist in 25 countries going by the name of Cyba-x. (www.cyba-x.com)

The meeting will be held at the Salvation Army Church on Butt Road. CO3 3DA. 8-10pm 7th Dec

All are invited to this, whether you are a drummer or not, Ed will be able to get you into it, he has led workshops to over 2,000 non drummers, and the results are stunning!
